La Vie en Lux marked a defining milestone for LAPSOFLUX with an unforgettable evening celebrating the release of its Mastery of Influence Issue at the newly reimagined Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Set against the hotel’s refined interiors and Paris-meets–California energy, the event brought together industry leaders, creatives, and tastemakers for a night that embodied the publication’s commitment to modern luxury, cultural relevance, and elevated storytelling. More than a celebration, the evening reflected the evolving landscape of influence, where leadership, creativity, and intention intersect.

At the heart of the issue is cover star Jeff Hamilton, whose enduring legacy in fashion and culture continues to inspire generations. The Mastery of Influence Issue honors individuals shaping contemporary leadership through authenticity, creativity, and impact. Featuring striking visuals, thoughtful interviews, and narrative-driven storytelling, the edition explores influence not as a title, but as a lived experience. Reflecting on his cover moment, Hamilton shared, “After all these years, I’m still flattered every time I’m asked to be on a cover. It never gets old. I wake up inspired every single day, grateful that I still get to create something meaningful and contribute to the culture.”

The La Vie en Lux celebration welcomed a distinguished guest list, including featured personalities Keith Carlos and Cher Calvin, and Laurie Miller all of whom appear in the issue, alongside Jeff Hamilton’s close friends, Cedric the Entertainer, Black-ish star Anthony Anderson, and real estate magnate Ramtin “Rey” Nosrati. Guests were greeted with French 75 cocktails by Martingale Cognac, a caviar bar curated by Sceptre Caviar, and handcrafted cocktails by Caleon Tequila. One of the evening’s standout moments was the immersive experience and education area by Chagual Mezcal, which guests genuinely loved for its storytelling, depth, and visuals. The night also featured an audiovisual presentation spotlighting partners Sofitel Los Angeles and CharterWorld, offering a glimpse into global destinations and experiential luxury, before culminating on the dance floor with an energizing set by DJ Rios.

Reflecting on the significance of the issue, Lana Johnson, Partner & Executive Editor of LAPSOFLUX, shared, “We set out to create an issue that pushed boundaries, challenged our creativity, and reflected the heartbeat of today’s cultural landscape. The Mastery of Influence Issue is special to us because it captures the future of leadership, an energy and vision that shapes the world around us.” With the success of this edition, LAPSOFLUX continues to expand its editorial and experiential footprint, deepening its role as a platform in the luxury space, cultural dialogue, and community. As the brand looks ahead, new stories, collaborations, and experiences are already on the horizon.
