Fashion and augmented reality meet at Arcadia Earth
In November 2024, LAPSOFLUX brought fashion, art and augmented reality together at Arcadia Earth for an event centered on a collaborative jacket by designer Jeff Hamilton and artists Diogo Snow and Max Jamali. The project was presented as wearable art: a physical garment paired with digital animations and virtual art that guests could access with a smartphone or AR device.
The collaboration put the digital layer in conversation with an object people could see and experience in person. Rather than treating technology as a separate display, the jacket connected fashion design and visual art to an interactive element.
A creative collaboration, experienced in person
Snow and Jamali discussed their design process and the role technology can play in fashion. An augmented-reality photo booth extended that idea to guests, producing AR prints they could take home. The format gave the evening a hands-on element and made the technology part of the event experience.

Giving Back
Alongside the creative program, the event supported a charitable cause. The LAPSOFLUX recap reports that more than $20,000 was raised for charity, with support from the team and event sponsor Lobos.
