Toronto does not whisper when it arrives. It announces itself in a flash of lenses, a clink of crystal, and the low hum of influence gathering in one room. The LapsOfLux Titans of Toronto edition launch at Soluna, presented by Veuve Clicquot, was exactly that kind of night. Polished, intentional, and charged with the city’s most compelling figures across music, art, fashion, architecture, design, and tech.

This was more than a celebration. It marked the pre release of LAPSOFLUX Magazine ahead of its June arrival on shelves at Indigo, a defining step for a publication stepping confidently into the national spotlight.

The evening opened with a statement of taste. Veuve flowed effortlessly, paired with a refined caviar experience and a cigar lounge that carried its own rhythm. Conversations unfolded slowly, deliberately. The kind that turn introductions into opportunities.

Outside, the red carpet became a moment in itself. Powered by DesignerDancefloor and Ronik Ink, the custom backdrop drew a crowd before guests even stepped inside. There was anticipation in the air as over 250 VIPs lined up, waiting for their turn to be captured. It was not rushed. It was earned.

Inside, the room told the story of Toronto at its most connected
Karl Wolf
A global sound with roots grounded in the city. His 1 on 1 feature in the magazine dives into the evolution of his music, the discipline behind longevity, and the mindset required to stay relevant in an industry that rarely slows down. It is not just about hits. It is about endurance, reinvention, and understanding the business behind the sound.

Sickick
An artist defined by mystery steps into clarity. His spread goes beyond the mask for the first time, offering a rare look at the identity, creativity, and vision that built one of the most recognizable anonymous brands in music today. It is controlled vulnerability. A calculated reveal that adds depth to the persona. Exclusively in the LAPSOFLUX Magazine.

Michael Wekerle
Direct, sharp, and unapologetically candid. His feature delivers insight into the realities of business at scale. From risk to resilience, he offers an inside perspective shaped by experience, not theory. It reads less like advice and more like a blueprint.

Around them, the energy continued to build. Figures from Bet99, Live Nation & Veuve Clicqout moved seamlessly through conversations alongside artists like Max Jamali and Sumartist whose works added texture to the night.

Entrepreneurs including La Familia Garcia, Patricia Jaggernauth, Vela Jewellers, Spark Financial, Jimmy Williams, Kennith Morgan, Flo100, Oonglee and Tuxedo Sergio added another layer to the room. Different industries, one shared language of ambition.

Moments of recognition anchored the evening. Founder Paul Saini was gifted a custom rug by rising talent Ramzz.to, known for crafting pieces for high profile clients worldwide. It was thoughtful. Personal. A reflection of the creative community surrounding the brand.

When we caught up with Tim rocking the limited edition 1/4 LAPSOFLUX x Jeff Hamilton Jackets, he made it clear the moment went far beyond a celebration. He spoke on the power of bringing together LAPSOFLUX’s elite network of investors and entrepreneurs—creating a space where relationships are formed and opportunities naturally unfold. From representatives of some of the world’s biggest brands to rising up-and-comers, the room reflected a curated ecosystem built on connection, ambition, and shared vision.
It wasn’t just a party—it was a convergence of influence, where the next wave of collaborations and deals quietly began taking shape.

We got an opportunity to speak with LAPSOFLUX founder, Paul Saini, at the event, where he reflected on the journey that brought LAPSOFLUX to this moment. “After our launch at F1 Abu Dhabi, we’ve never looked back. This is our sixth magazine—and it’s only getting bigger,” he shared.

What many don’t see is the grind behind the glamour. Paul spoke candidly about the early days—building from nothing, staying consistent through uncertainty, and believing in the vision long before the wins started showing up. That persistence is now translating into real momentum.
With LAPSOFLUX officially landing on 75 shelves across Canada through Indigo, the brand is scaling into new territory. Expansion into Barnes & Noble, private lounges, and exclusive VIP partnerships is already underway—solidifying its place within the luxury space.
From a bold idea to a growing international platform, LAPSOFLUX isn’t slowing down—it’s just getting started.
As copies of LAPSOFLUX circulated through the room in an exclusive pre release, the purpose of the evening became clear. This was not just about launching a publication. It was about defining a moment.

By the time the final glasses were raised, Toronto had done what it does best. It showed up with presence, with purpose, and with a clear vision of what comes next.
